Pedro F. Mata -
Pedro spent 29
years at W.R. Grace where he was a Senior Vice
President and rotating member of the Board. Pedro
served as President of Allied Food Industries,
Ambrosia Chocolate Company, Baker & Taylor and Grace
Cocoa. Pedro also served as President of Primedia’s
Educational Group and founded MGS Mata Global
Solutions. Pedro holds a B.S. and M.E. in Industrial
Engineering and Operations Research from Cornell
University where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Pedro P. Mata - An
entrepreneur focused on venture start-ups, Pedro is
responsible for daily execution of representation
projects for MGS clients. Previously, he served as
President & CEO of Chili Systems, Inc. and CTO of
Cordia Corporation in the technology and telecomm industries. He also had an
operations role as development/integration manager for
Universal Recoveries serving property and casualty and
healthcare insurance. Mr. Mata holds a B.S. degree from
Roger Williams University.

Jay Berkman -
Jay provides three decades of senior level business
development, capital raising, and marketing roles
for global corporations, turn-arounds, and leading
edge start-ups within the financial markets,
insurance, new media, technology, and entertainment
sectors. A former member of the NYSE, ASE, and CBOE,
Jay's roles have included establishing an insurance
claims administration company and overseeing $20
million in pending claims; he raised initial venture
capital and served as one of 4 co-founders of an
electronic exchange platform for fixed income
products (later acquired by a global bank where he
then served as a senior business development
executive); Interim CEO of a NASDAQ-listed
entertainment company; and Global Marketing
Executive for an international on-line brokerage.

Daniel Blank -
Daniel has over 25 years of diverse experience as senior executive,
consultant, entrepreneur and investor. Currently the President and CEO
of Bright Meridian International, Daniel has held leadership positions
with Wall Street firms in research, trading and technology. Prior to
forming Bright Meridian, he was President of a joint venture between Reuters
and the NASDAQ Stock Market known as the IRN, and spent 8 years as a senior
executive with Instinet, the world’s largest agency brokerage.
As a consultant with the Zacota Group and Enterprise Analysis Corporation,
he has helped clients with sales, marketing, business development and
strategy from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Industries include
financial services, technology and healthcare. Daniel has been a venture
investor and advisor since 1999. He holds a BSBA degree from the University of Denver.

Dan Cohen -
Dan has spent the last fifteen years working in some
of Madison Avenue’s most prestigious global
advertising agencies. He is currently a Senior Vice
President/Creative Director at Publicis New York
where he works with clients such as Procter & Gamble
and Pernod Ricard.
Prior to joining Publicis, Dan held creative and
account management positions at JWT, DDB, and
McCann-Erickson. He has developed memorable
communications platforms and brand identities for
clients such as Hershey, Nabisco, Kimberly Clark,
Schick Razors, Cadbury Adams, and Philips
Electronics. Dan holds a BA in English from Brandeis
University and a Masters in Marketing from the Stern
School of Business.

Jerry Hui -
Jerry Hui, has more than 20 years of experience in the electronics industry. Professionally chartered engineer, a technoprenuer also
with good cross cultural management experience. He was in charge of a private company spanning over 8
countries in Asia, strategized successfully to bring public listing approval of the company to the
Singapore Stock Exchange, after winning the
prestigious Enterprise-50 Award in four consecutive years.
Besides strong management skills, he
has had many years of hands on product development, experiences in working
with government for overseas market development trade missions. Before his Singapore career migration,
he worked in global corporations like Motorola, Avnet, gaining more than a decade of distribution marketing
experiences in Australasia. He had been a regular contributing business writer by invitation to write for
Singapore Business Times between 2003 to 2005.

Mata -
Carolina Mata is a marketing director at Whirlpool
Corporation, the largest appliance manufacturer in
the world. She has more than 17 years of experience
in brand marketing and consumer loyalty,
advertising, public relations, marketing
communications and employee engagement. She has
held positions in marketing communications agencies
where she led the technology business and
transformed strategies into action.
Carolina is a certified innovation
consultant and lends those skills within Whirlpool,
with strategic partners and within the community to
create strategies, corporate visions and
collaborative work plans. Carolina has a bachelor's
degree in Journalism from the University of New
Hampshire and a master's of business administration
from the University of Notre Dame.
